traditional scholarship for high school students

This Part A application is designed for the traditional student who resides in Manchester Connecticut six (6) months prior to submitting the application AND will graduate from high school in either January 2025 or June 2025.  Applicants must be accepted into a post-secondary school beginning in fall  2025 to be eligible for this award. Please NOTE:  There will be no applications accepted after the March 1, 2025 deadline. You will receive a confirmation email upon successful submission.  There are NO exceptions!  There is a Part B (financial) of this application that is to be sent to a different address and will be evaluated separately. Please review the MSF Traditional Scholarship webpage for further details.

A successful applicant will need to demonstrate scholarship (GPA >=2.8), community engagement by participating in extra-curricular activities, complete an essay, and a Part B financial declaration application. These standards set forth are minimal standards for us to consider you for a scholarship. Meeting these standards does not guarantee a scholarship. The number of scholarships awarded and the dollar amount of each award will depend on the amount of funds available each year.

Our traditional scholarships will be paid in two equal amounts over a two (2) year period (for example: academic years 2025-2026 and 2026-2027).  Please note that should you fail to return to college for the second year, we will not pay for that second year.  It is your responsibility to notify us if you change your school for year 2.   We reserve the right to reduce the scholarship if your cost of attendance changes  due to a change in schools.
